Always trust your children to God's care
Bring them to church
Challenge them to high goals
Delight in their achievements
Exalt the Lord in their presence
Frown on evil
Give them love
Hear their problems
Ignore not their childish fears
Joyfully accept their apologies
Keep their confidence
Live a good example before them
Make them your friends
Never ignore their endless questions
Open your heart to their love
Pray for them by name
Quicken your interest in their spirituality
Remember their needs
Show them the way of salvation
Teach them to work
Understand they are still young
Verify your statements
Wean them from bad company
Xpect them to obey
Yearn for God's best for them
Zealously guide them in Bible truth

A Mother's Creed
Lord, who am I to teach the way
To little children, day by day,
So prone myself to go astray?
I teach them knowledge, but I know
How faint they flicker and how low
The candles of my knowledge glow.
I teach them power to will and do,
But only now to learn anew
My own great weakness through and through.
Lord, if their guide I still must be,
Oh, let my little children see
Their mother leaning hard on Thee.

Who Cares, Anyway? Part Two
"I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication. I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul."—Psalm 142:1-4
Do You Care Enough About Lost Children?
Do you care about the children in your community and other areas?
Wouldn't it be good if in one of our missions conferences we had slides with all the missionary outreaches of the church and pictures that showed all of the run-down areas reached and little kids all around the church? Maybe then somebody would surrender to become a new bus captain.
God loves every one of those children in Africa and other areas that need clean water, but there are a lot of kids in our own communities that need clean water. There are many kids in our area that need to be saved.
We are saved because somebody cared enough about our soul. Maybe he knocked on our door and gave us a gospel tract or stopped us and talked to us about our salvation.
What is it that stands in the way that won't let you care enough?
